Yesterday our trio, "Reflection", sang at the Christmas party for the residents of the Northern Cochise Community Hospital's Assisted Living Home. There were 25 residents from the nursing home side and several were brought over in wheel chairs from the hospital side.

We sang carols with them for a half hour and then Santa's elves came to distribute presents. Everybody got at least one and some received several. I got to go around and talk to everyone. They were so excited to have a party and all the attention.

We've been doing Sunday services there for almost 4 years so they are like family. Sharon and Bea made stars for them this year that they can hang up wherever they want. We decided to wait until Sunday to hand them out. There was so much going on yesterday.

If you have a nursing home in your town (it's guaranteed there's at least one!) go visit them once in awhile. All you have to do is shake their hand and say hello. It will mean a lot to them.

Have a great day.

Welcome to "Reflections."
My wife, Sharon, and I founded a non-profit back in 1997 called the "R & R Ranch"

I thought this "blog" might be a good place to share what's happening in our lives, the lives of those we minister with and to.

Pastor David Rey works with us in our Mission Mexico venture. Keep his wife, Marina, in prayer as she's been sick lately. David will be going down to Hermosillo in early January to continue the process of forming a Mexican Corporation.

Have a great Christmas, if I don't talk to you before then.
